St. Cezaire and Les Arcs, 2009
Dear Friends of the 517th,
I had the opportunity to visit St Cezaire during the Easter Weekend, here are some picture of this beautiful village.
St Cezaire was liberated by the 3rd Battalion on August 22-23 1944. The local people still have fond memories of "Les Parachutistes Américains".
I have asked many questions about the Mayor's Fiat for Mr. Hensleigh but the people didn't remember the Fiat incident.
